Celsiy flavored vodka poster design

A series of print and outdoor poster designs for an advertising campaign to launch the new vodka brand to the national market.

CUSTOMER: National Alcohol Traditions, nationwide Ukrainian distillery.
BRAND: Celsiy flavored vodka.

OBJECTIVE: Poster design for an outdoor and print advertising campaign in support of TV promotion of the new vodka brand launch on the national market.

BRAND PERSONALITY: Celsiy is the new vodka with several non-ordinary flavors, created for modern, stylish people, who know the taste of good vodka, and are always ready to discover something new.

The market positioning for this brand is “a vodka for escapists.” The vodka priced as an upper middle segment product.

BIG IDEA: LET’S RIDE THE BUZZ!

Inline with Celsiy TV promo additional supporting print & outdoor advertisement campaign. Precisely at that time, all Ukrainians anticipated a rare astronomic event, a partial solar eclipse.

The upcoming eclipse was widely covered by TV and print media and generated massive user buzz on the Internet. It was a unique opportunity that we could not afford to miss.

To ride the buzz I created “the eclipse” conception, fit perfectly into a current TV communication line, in which each Celsiy bottle represented its’ own mystery world. Look at this Celsiy Original Vodka billboard.

CELSIY. THE ANOTHER

I designed five posters, one for each vodka flavor: Mint, Pepper, Vanilla, Light, and Absolut. Each poster design has two options: standard print layout and outdoor advertising layout.

Branded vertical billboards were placed along the central streets of the biggest Ukrainian cities.

Generally, these roadside media have a short period of visual contact, so for increasing brand visual recognition at market launch, I needed to put a huge brand name behind the bottle.

Billboards in pedestrian zones have the same layout, like this outdoor AD for Celsiy Pepper flavored vodka. Also, take a look at my Celsiy Pepper TV Commercial, it’s really hot!

CELSIY FLAVORED VODKA PRINT AD

This is a typical Celsiy print ad in the men’s glossy magazines.

The print campaign followed the outdoor advertising campaign, and all customers were well-prepared for this brand. Print publications provide a more extended visual contact time, so in this case, we could use a classic print ad with a slogan.

DRINK RESPONSIBLY!

The big ugly text at the poster’s bottom is a “health warning.” By local advertising laws, health warning always occupies a specific area of any alcohol or tobacco design and must be highly contrasted – the designer cannot change it.
