Celsiy flavored vodka banners design

A series of nightclub’s indoor banners design to support the Celsiy flavored vodka market launch campaign by HoReCa promotional activities.

CUSTOMER: National Alcohol Traditions, nationwide Ukrainian distillery.
BRAND: Celsiy flavored vodka.

OBJECTIVE: Design series of indoor banners for The Celsiy Party nightclubs decoration.

BRAND PERSONALITY: Celsiy is the new vodka with several non-ordinary flavors, created for modern, stylish people, who know the taste of good vodka, and are always ready to discover something new.

The market positioning for this brand is “a vodka for escapists.” The vodka priced as an upper middle segment product.

Why are people nightclubbing?

To dance? To drink? To hang with a friend? Anyway, when you are young, professional and the world is rolling under your feet, you want to relax when Friday evening comes!

To catch this core brand audience, Celsiy organized a “Celsiy Party” in the biggest nightclubs, with famous DJ’s, special cocktails, and unique contests.

For this promotion and HoReCa branding, the brand needed banners, which would be noticeable enough in dark environment with blinking disco lights.

This banner reminds you: Go dance!

INLINE WITH CUSTOMER’S MOOD

When a person wishes to relax, s/he usually ignores advertising, as a break from the usual visual clutter of their lives.

To avoid this rejection, I created a series of messages that are aligned with a nightclub’s visitor’s mood – Dancing, drinking, maybe hooking up?

To make this call much less pronounced, I used “an extraterrestrial language,” which we successfully used in previous TV teaser campaign, and supported the message with brutal graphics & lettering. Banners are proclaimed: Dansao, sexano, relaxo, livos!

This banner whispered to you: get laid!

BRAND THEM ALL!

I designed two banner series: 4 square banners and two long 3:1 banners. This modular size system allowed Celsiy to utilize effective branding for any size and configuration of available spaces. For better visibility, the central banner message has been printed with special paint, which glowed in UV light.

These banners proved to be very popular, visitors transformed them into photo-zones, especially the “Get Laid!” banner.
